U.K. rock outfit Maximo Park will release its second album, 'Our Earthly Pleasures,' April 3 in North America. As previously reported, the album was produced by Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters) and includes a couple of songs ("Nosebleed," and opener "Girls Who Play Guitars") that have been around since writing sessions for Maximo Park`s 2005 debut, 'A Certain Trigger.'
Frontman Paul Smith told Billboard.com in October he revisited themes he began exploring on the last album. "I don`t feel like I`ve changed particularly," he said. "I`ve seen more things. I`ve seen more places. I`m more educated about the world, but it`s that same person who wrote the first lyrics."
